New Filing Fee Refund Payment Type in EDGAR and Elimination of Check Refunds

Effective September 16, 2024, EDGAR filers will no longer be able to request filing fee refund payments (return of unused account funds) from the SEC in the form of a check. EDGAR filers will be able to request them in EDGAR using a new Fedwire payment method and will still be able to use the existing ACH payment method. Please note that wire transfer fees are applied when using the Fedwire refund payment method.
