On July 8, 2024, EDGAR introduces the following changes:

Substantive Changes

Inserted Section 6 Instance Content consisting of material from sections of EFM v68 formerly found in “Content” sections 6.6, 6.8, 6.10, 6.11, and 6.12.

• The section reorganizes the material to distinguish between guidance for general XBRL, Inline XBRL, and Inline XBRL Financial Statements.
• Added section “The Related Official Document” to support submission types that permit multiple Inline XBRL instances, quoting Regulation S-T.
• Added former EFM v68 section 6.8.3 guidance to 5.12 Other custom Taxonomy Components.

Added conditions to Filing Fee Exhibit validation

On July 1, 2024, EDGAR Release 24.2 introduces the following changes:

• Table 1-3 has been updated to remove submission types F-SR and F-SR/A along with the descriptions.
• Section 3.4.6 has been updated to remove elements of the submission types F-SR and F-SR/A along with the types of the fields in the Co Reg schema.
• eis_CoReg.xsd and eis_Common.xsd schemas have been updated to remove F-SR and F-SR/A submission types.
• EX-99 is added to the DOCUMENT_TYPE table.
• Sample JSON and Inline XBRL files have been created for the test cases documented in the “EDGAR Filing Fee Test Cases for Filers” guide and included in the “EDGARLink Online Sample files” folder within the EDGARLink Online Technical Specifications zip file. These samples serve as examples to assist filers in preparation of their own filing fee exhibits. Filing fee exhibits may be constructed in a structured Inline XBRL format via an Online Tool, the Fee Exhibit Preparation Tool (FEPT), or filer-constructed Inline XBRL fee exhibits. For more information, please refer to the EDGAR Filing Fee Interface Guide and the EDGAR XBRL Guide.

This specification provides the basis for creating the submission types for SBSEF XML submissions. Filers must use this technical specification to generate a SBSEF XML submission that can be successfully parsed by the EDGAR system.

The SBSEF submission file must conform to the EDGAR SBSEF Submission Taxonomy. This taxonomy is comprised of a collection of XML Schema Definition (.xsd) files that define the structures of EDGAR SBSEF submissions.

On May 10, 2024, EDGAR Release 24.1.1.u2 will introduce the following updates:

• The schema file eis_NPORT_Filer will be updated with the following changes:
  • The “redemption” data attribute type was changed from “DECIMAL_24_NA” to “DECIMAL_NON_NEGATIVE_NA_TYPE_24” for the following elements in the FLOW_INFO_GROUP:
    • mon1Flow
    • mon2Flow 
    • mon3Flow 
  • The “redemption” data attribute type was changed from “DECIMAL_24_NA” to “DECIMAL_NON_NEGATIVE_NA_TYPE_24”  in the MONTH_FLOW_TYPE.

On February 5, 2024, EDGAR Release 24.0.2 introduced the following changes:

• The "Form N-MFP3 Technical Specifications" document will be updated to correct the maximum occurrences of "scheduleOfPortfolioSecuritiesInfo" in Part C to 99,999 instead of the current 9,999. Additionally, the Form N-MFP3 schema will be updated to correct the maximum occurrences of "dispositionOfPortfolioSecurities" in Part D to 1 instead of 9,999.

The following changes were made on June 7, 2024:

• The “Form N-PX Technical Specifications” package was updated to include an images folder, css folder, and SDR_State_Codes.xsl file for Stylesheets. Sample xmls were also updated.

• The “Form N-PX CTR Technical Specifications” package was updated to include an images folder, css folder, and SDR_State_Codes.xsl file for Stylesheets.

On December 18, 2023, EDGAR Release 23.4 introduced the following changes

• Table 3.4 Mapping of Form SBSE Submission Schemas to Submission Type
• Table 3.5 Mapping of Form SBSE-A Submission schemas to Submission Types
• Table 3.6 Mapping of Form SBSE-BD Submission schemas to Submission Types.

This specification provides the basis for creating the aforementioned submission types for Schedule 13D and 13G XML submissions. Filers must use this technical specification to generate a Schedule 13D and 13G XML submission that can be successfully parsed by the EDGAR system.

The Schedule 13D or 13G submission file must conform to the EDGAR Schedule 13D and 13G Submission Taxonomy. This taxonomy is comprised of a collection of XML Schema Definition (.xsd) files that define the structures of EDGAR Schedule 13D and 13G submissions.

The Schedule 13D and 13G submissions can be transmitted to the SEC via the EDGAR FilerWeb (https://www.edgarfiling.sec.gov/) or the “Transmit XML Submission” option from the EDGAR OnlineForms/XML Website (https://www.onlineforms.edgarfiling.sec.gov).

On September 18, 2023, EDGAR Release 23.3 introduced the following changes:

On September 20, 2021, EDGAR Release 21.3 introduced the following changes:

• Text for Country TAIWAN, PROVICE OF CHINA is changed to TAIWAN in eis_Common.xsd file.
• Text for Country TAIWAN, PROVICE OF CHINA is changed to TAIWAN in eis_stateCodes.xsd file.
• Code F5 is changed to TAIWAN in APPENDIX A.STATE/COUNTRY CODES.

On December 18, 2023, EDGAR Release 23.4 introduced the following changes

• Table 3.4 Mapping of Form SBSE Submission Schemas to Submission Type
• Table 3.5 Mapping of Form SBSE-A Submission schemas to Submission Types
• Table 3.6 Mapping of Form SBSE-BD Submission schemas to Submission Types.

This specification provides the basis for creating the submission types for SBSEF XML submissions. Filers must use this technical specification to generate a SBSEF XML submission that can be successfully parsed by the EDGAR system.

The SBSEF submission file must conform to the EDGAR SBSEF Submission Taxonomy. This taxonomy is comprised of a collection of XML Schema Definition (.xsd) files that define the structures of EDGAR SBSEF submissions.

This specification provides the basis for creating the aforementioned submission types for Schedule 13D and 13G XML submissions. Filers must use this technical specification to generate a Schedule 13D and 13G XML submission that can be successfully parsed by the EDGAR system.

The Schedule 13D or 13G submission file must conform to the EDGAR Schedule 13D and 13G Submission Taxonomy. This taxonomy is comprised of a collection of XML Schema Definition (.xsd) files that define the structures of EDGAR Schedule 13D and 13G submissions.

The Schedule 13D and 13G submissions can be transmitted to the SEC via the EDGAR FilerWeb (https://www.edgarfiling.sec.gov/) or the “Transmit XML Submission” option from the EDGAR OnlineForms/XML Website (https://www.onlineforms.edgarfiling.sec.gov).
