I think there should be more information available to investors. The company should be allowed to describe their business to general public, not just to institutional investor.
Secondly, the offered price of the stock should be announced atleast one week before the opening. Recently, one company advertised the price of its IPO to be 17-19 range but increased the price twice within last 10 days of IPO opening and ended up at 22, a night before the opening. The company should be asked to show how they reach the offer price and the price should remain at offering value atleast 1-2 weeks prior to opening to allow investors to digest the offered price.
