I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed rule in the above mentioned regulation. I am an investor and am extremely concerned about the fact that under the proposed rule, stockbrokers offering financial plans will not have to disclose any financial incentives they receive or disclose any disciplinary issues they have faced with regulators. Today, it is difficult to tell who is a broker who is a financial planner. Certified Financial Planners are required to disclose their sources of compensation any conflicts of interest. Any financial planner should do the same. Thank you.
