I completely support the proposal to have more disclosure by mutual funds. Too long have we gone without an understanding fees and financial relationships between brokers and mutual fund companies.
I reviewed the forms that are proposed for the reporting and I find them comprehensive. I dont have any changes to suggest.
I would also like to have more disclosure by the mutual funds regarding share ownership and compensation of the key exectives or directors.
I do suggest that brokers and mutual funds be obliged to post the forms proposed above and the other information that I suggest on a website so that they can be referenced at will. Availability will facilitate fund comparisons.
