I support your efforts to better protect individuals like myself. The adoption of regulations that would bettr help the investor understand who benefits most in the selection of mutual funds would be most helpful. My broker recently called me to say that due to a communications problem at his firm the purchase of class B shares in Dec. and Feb. exceeded the total amount allowed by SEC and the order was cancelled and repurchased as class A shares in April.

I have had the nagging feeling the recent trading of my mutual fund shares from one family to another was not in my best interest. Knowing the fees or comissions received by the broker could allow me to determine whose interest is best being served.
