I fully support this disclosure rule and hope that the SEC will not bend to any requests to weaken the rule. I would encourage you to pass it soon so that we, as investors, can reap the benefits right away.
I also feel that the point of sale rule is as important if not more important and should not be weakened or excluded.
As an individual investor, I have done my own research on compensation and have found it increasingly difficult to find this type of information in one concise place. Often I have to not just read the prospectus, but STUDY it in order to find this type of information. Even then, the prospectus information does not always disclose all broker compensation. The prospectus information is rarely if ever in the easily readable format in the sample report.
Please let me reiterate my support for this rule.
