The rush for change is imprudent. With over 100 pages of possible legislative changes to consider, 60 days is certainly not enough time to review the impact to my business and the effect to the public. Change may be in order, but not as a rush to make change for change sake. I have been a licensed broker for over 20 years and the markups and margins in my business in that time have been reduced by well over 60 from my first days in financial retail sales. The competitive nature of the business did that, not legislation. Give the market time to address the need for disclosure and transparency.
