I strongly support your effort to have brokers and others fully disclose the costs and potential conflicts of
interests to investors who purchase mutual fund shares, UIT interests, 529 plan shares, and other investments.
Its obvious that consumers should have the right to full discloser about all fees and expenses we pay pay for a particular product. Brokers should also tell us how much they and their firm stand to benefit from our
purchase of their products. Its difficult and time consuming to sort-through/compare fees and hidden costs now. This makes consumers cynical and distrustful as well as causing us to make inappropriate investment choices due to misleading product representations.
Sincerely,
Anthony Webster
