Mr. Cox, please empower shareholders to discipline executive pay by giving shareholders more rights to actually hold directors accountable for runaway executive pay. One solution is to give shareholders improved rights to nominate candidates for the board of directors. Another is to allow shareholders to vote directly on executive compensation.
