Executive Compensation Disclosures
Reporting the top three most highly compensated employees, who are not "named executive officers", would be a competitive disadvantage for small publicly traded companies and specifically our community bank.
It is not uncommon for certain sales representatives paid on commission,to earn more than the named executive officers at Horizon Bancorp.
By providing this information, larger banks and non-publicly traded competitors, would be able to determine sales volumes and commission schedules of key sales personnel. This information would place small publicly traded companies at a disadvantage and increase the risk of losing top talent to large banks and non-publicly traded competition.
