I have been a member of the CBOT since 1955.
during this period we conceived of and funded the CBOE.
In return for this we were contractually guaranteed the right of membership in the CBOE. Over the years this right has been reconfirmed several times.
Now that the CBOE is seeking to privatize and go public, they are attempting to take away from the CBOT members all
of our rights without any compensation whatsoever. When Chavez of Venezuela was appropriating U.S property in his
Country our government protested vehemently. ARE NOT THE MEMBERS OF THE CBOT ENTITLED TO THE SAME CONSIDERATION?
I STRONGLY URGE YOU NOT TO ALLOW THE CBOE TO DISENFRANCHISE THE MEMBERS OF THE CBOT
