Let the "free market" society continue. Regulation is for protection of the investor, let the public companies chose. If the DTC is involved with short selling fine them and use the funds to police other suspected areas. There is a tremendous amount of "naked" short selling every day on the OTCBB. The effects on many small companies have been horrendous. The "uptick" rule must be mandatory in conjunction with the "up day" rule along with monitored reporting requirements. We have to do everything posible to stop this illegal activity for the protection of investors, corporate america, and the growth or the US economy. Thank you for finally taking this topic seriously.
