Dear Mr. Katz,

I am writing to comment on the proposed rules for the Boston Options
Exchange, ref:BOX - SR-BSE-2002-15.  I strongly feel that this is an
important step in the long overdue effort to level the playing field for
the individual investor.  The full and equal electronic access and PIP
process will allow the individual investor to reduce transaction costs,
and bring transparency to a process that has been clouded for too long.

Naturally, the vested interests are going to bring tremendous pressure
to keep this from happening, and I urge the Commission to resist that
pressure and give prompt approval to the BOX.
