I understand that you are considering comments relating to rules proposed by the Boston Options Exchange (BOX) that would implement a "price improvement" feature. This would be done within the context of a fully electronic order matching system. I can't pretend to understand the inner workings of the system, but it seems to me that the proposal is "pro-consumer" and I hope that you will give it favorable consideration. It will probably cause some short term pain for vested interests (i.e., the existing options exchange), but I believe that it is in the best long term interest of the options industry.
