Internet roadshow presentations are an efective, efficient method of distributing information on new issues. While they do not serve as a substitute for prospectus items, they do offer real world pictures of companies and their businesses that get lost in the legalease required in the prospectus. At some point in time, investors have to bear a little bit of responsibility for their own investment decisions, and it seems to me that choosing to hear a management presentation, whether in person, or over the internet, is well within that level of accountability.
