Dear Secretary Katz: Many of us are interested in having more information about 
mutual funds, in particular how advisers and funds vote. We would like to know 
what their procedures and guidelines are. We understand that you are proposing 
to make this more possible, with the proposed rules, File Numbers S7-36-02 and 
S7-38-02. Some people say that investors are not interested in having this information. 
Some may not be, but we're sure that many others are interested. So what reason 
can there be for not making it available to those who are interested?
