Katz, Secretary, Securities and Exchange Commission, 450 Fifth Street NW, Washington, DC 20549-0609 RE: File No. S7-36-02 Dear Mr. Katz, I support the adoption/passage of the new rule described within File No. S7-36-02, which requires that mutual funds disclose their proxy voting policies, procedures and voting records. Mutual fund shareholders have a right to know how their fund managers are voting their proxies, which will make fund managers more accountable. This in turn could have a beneficial impact on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, and help to restore investor confidence. This rule is long overdue. Thank you. Sincerely, Stephanie Wolanski Stephanie Wolanski 6321 40th Ave. Portland, OR
