Katz, Secretary Securities and Exchange Commission 450 Fifth Street NW, Washington, DC 20549-0609 Dear Secretary Katz: I am a mutual fund investor, and I am writing to support the Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed rules concerning proxy voting disclosure by mutual funds and investment advisers. (File Numbers S7-36-02 and S7-38-02) I strongly support these rules because I believe that we need to know about our fund managers' voting history. This will enable us to make better decisions about our money, and can only improve confidence in the market. Additionally, disclosure will hold accountable those who should be using the proxy voting process for the best interest of investors. I take very seriously my responsibility to use my investments to promote corporate accuontability. Disclosure of voting records will greatly help. Thank you for this opportunity to comment on the proposed rules. Sincerely, Monique Harrison 2526 NW 36 Lane Gainesville, FL 32605 mejh4256@hotmail.com
