Mutual fund management seems to be interested in keeping their proxy votes secret. WHY? Could it be there is a significant opportunity for conflict of interest on the part of mutual fund managers? One only has to look at Global Crossing, Enron, and Worldcom to understand how dangerous it is for funds to be allowed to maitain secrecy. I am requesting as a taxpayer and mutual fund owner that the SEC require that mutual funds tell its shareholders how they voted their proxies. Ken Dargis Wilmington, De.
