Subject: commenting on "Proposed Regulation FD" 

From an interested observer in the UK -
     
I was extremely pleased as I listened on CNBC to the SEC Chairman Levitt 
outline the proposed rules to combat selective disclosure of information by 
public companies.
     
These measures will go a long way to increase global confidence firstly in 
the American financial marketplace, and secondly but not least, in the 
ability of the American people to discern and follow the principles of right 
and good.
