Subject: proposed regulation FD
 
Commissioner Arthur Levitt proposed regulation FD has my
whole support.  His proposal will do no more than ensure strict 
adherence to the spirit of present regulation rather than add another 
burden upon Wall Street--to paraphrase some deractors. Besides, I think 
Wall Street must like burdens: How else can yoy explain their long fight 
to prevent the adoption of decimal system bid/ask quotations?
