Selective disclosure to Securities Analysts is not the only activity that needs to be addressed. I think that large Mutual Funds such as Janus, Fidelity, etc. have access to the senior management of most major corporations that the average individual investor is denied. This gives them access to futures related information about specific companies that is not normally published in the media or otherwise made available to the general public. I understand why the corporations would want large investors such as those previously mentioned to buy their stock as it would certainly drive the price up due to the large demand that would result. The individual investor would not know what the basis of the increase would be until much later. I hope this is another area that the SEC is evaluating under this topic. Thank you Thomas Reid
