Subject: Proposed Regulation FD

Dear Chairman Levitt,
     
It's about time that selective disclosure is reduced.
     
As president of a small consulting service, Washington Associates, I find 
the current state of affairs to be quite disconcerting. Not only in delayed 
financial information but also frequent disclosures by "whisper" that may 
be quite misleading.
     
I urge implementation of Proposed regulation FD.
