Date: 12/29/1999 3:17 PM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD Dear Chairman Levitt, As an individual investor, I applaud the proposed Fair Disclosure regulation. The free flow of information is one of the principles that this country was founded on and we have prospered as a result. With technological advances making information easier to disseminate to all interested parties than ever before, it is certainly time to give all investor equal access to information affecting their investments. There should not be two "classes" of investors, as all investors have willing "loaned" money to a corporation and are equally affected by its business situation. I am very pleased to hear that you and the Commission recognized this issue and hope that you will continue with the good work of keeping all of us honest. Thank you for your time, Pamela Medley
