Subject: Proposed Regulation FD -- in favor

As an "ordinary investor", I would like to speak in favor of Proposed 
Regulation FD.  It's an important step in leveling the playing field, and 
clearly compatible with the general notion of *public* information.  As the 
owner of a small (private) business, I'd also like to point out that in the 
Web era, it imposes almost zero cost on the public companies.  So, high 
benefit, low cost -- looks great!
     
Clearly, analysts and others who benefit from the current system will fight 
the intended change; unfair advantage is rarely yielded without a fight. 
But, the benefits speak for themselves.
