Subject: Regulation FD comments - File No. S7-31-99

I'm invested in about 40 public companies, comprising 
a substantial part of my net worth. In this volatile 
market, it's important to have the most complete and 
current information on these companies. The conference 
calls are informative and helpful. Particularly the 
questions from the floor often elicit information that 
is available nowhere else or much later. I would 
suggest that companies be required to furnish 
transcripts of their conference calls and annual 
meetings to those who request them. Thank you for the
