Subject: Comments on Proposed Rules (S7-25-97) Date: 11/23/97 9:33 PM Tator Associates 12 Landing Way, Dover NH 03820-4667 November 24, 1997 Arthur Levitt, Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission 450 5th ST, NW Washington, DC 20549 Dear Mr. Levitt: I am writing to ask that the SEC not implement the proposed rules, (S7-25-97), that would so strongly limit the freedom of shareholders to voice concerns over practices of management. If these rules had been in existence ten years ago, we would have not seen the powerful participation of the business community in ending Arpartheid. Please use your power to stop these rules, American shareholders are counting on you to safeguard their rights. Thank you for your consideration of my views. Sincerely, Wes Tator Telephone: (603) 749-2638 Facsimile: (603) 749-2874 email: Westator@aol.com
