Subject: Attn Jonathan Katz Author: "george riley" Date: 11/25/97 6:39 PM Re File No. S7-25-97 Corporations are so large now and getting so far removed from the consumer, please do not create even greater distance by modifying the requirements for resolutions with higher percentages. What is speech without access? Are corporate monoliths expected to not hear from consumers and small stockholders? Can we expect that more distance is better? For whom? More hurdles are better? For Whom? It is tough enough now. Help keep shareholder access, small as it is, at the current 3/6/10% levels. Greater % requirements would simply cut us off, virtually eliminating access. Please, please, please! George T. Riley, 1198 Costro Road, Monterey, CA 93940
