Subject: Objection to SEC's proposed rules (S7-25-97) Date: 11/14/97 10:41 PM Jonathan Katz, Secretary Securities and Exchange Commission 450 5th Street NW Washington, DC 20549 Dear Secretary Katz, I am wriing to voice my objection to the SEC's proposed rules (S7-25-97). Please use all your power to stop these proposed rules from going forward. Today's shareholder process is a responsible, reasonable approach that starts a process of dialogue between concerned shareholders and corporate management to find real solutions to real problems. The process as it stands today is an important tool for protecting my financial interests as a stockholder. It is also an important marketplace mechanism for promoting corporate accountability and corporate responsibility. The current proposal is an unacceptable attempt to take away the rights of American shareholders. You must stop these rules from going forward. Sincerely, Susan G.
