Subject: Re: Shareholder Rights-ACT NOW! Date: 11/13/97 2:24 PM Dear SEC organization, << Multinational corporations are financing and influencing politicians which in turn relax regulations that impact the environment, workers and society. The one place that can hold corporations accountable is through shareholder activism. Without shareholder resolutions corporations would not be adhering to the CERES Principles. But now this is in the balance. I strongly oppose the SEC's new proposed rules (S7-25-97) the ability of most shareholders to participate in a responsible shareholder resolution process will be destroyed. Thank you for your help in keeping our world a better place. Sincerely, Stan Katz Carlsbad CA.
