Dear Mr. Levitt:
     
I would like to register my opposition to S7-25-97, which would prevent 
certain stockholder initiatives from being deliberated and voted on at 
stockholder meetings. In particular, the rule would prevent
motions and information regarding fair employment practices from coming 
to the attention of stockholders. There is no reason to propound such a 
"gag rule," and I urge that no such rule be enacted.
