From: Collinge/Thiel/Weygant [capejo@localnet.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 4:00 PM To: rule-comments@sec.gov Subject: File #S7-19-03 I support the SEC proposals to give long-term shareholders the right to use company proxy materials to nominate up to three directors. These rules are a vital, though insufficient, step toward empowering shareholders and reining in excesses of corporate management. I would suppport strengthening these rules by lowering ownership requirements and speeding up the two-year nominating process, but even without those improvements the proposed rules are worthy of support.
