I am 73 years old and my life savings are invested in the stock market.  I feel
frustration each time a corporation in which I hold stock asks me to vote on a
slate of board directors, knowing that this is a meaningless ritual.  My
frustration has increased in recent times following one revelation after another
of board incestuousness and/or incompetence.  As you address this situation I
hope your response will not be timid or cosmetic.
