From: nskipper1 [nskipper1@netzero.net] Sent: Friday, August 15, 2003 10:58 PM To: rule-comments@sec.gov Subject: Rule Number S7-14-03 I write in support of rule-number S7-14-03 to require corporations to disclose more information about how directors are nominated. This would be a positive development. The information about how board members are nominated should be included in company proxy statements. The statements should also be required to include information about how investors could convey their concerns to the board. This is only the first step toward opening up the boardrooms of corporate America. Much more needs to be done to prevent the corporate debacles that are being revealed on an almost daily basis and undermining investor confidence. Sincerely, Ned A.
