      I am ardently in favor of my mutual funds spending my money wisely.  I do 
not want them to favor speed over price.  I am surprised that there is a 
controversy on this point, since it is the task of the Securities and Exchange 
Commission to protect investors.   I am about to aver my very strong feelings on 
this issue to those funds that I have entrusted with my retirement funds.
