RE:"New Confirmation and Point of Sale Disclosures Requirement"

We spent part of Saturday completing breakpoint claim forms for Smith 
Barney and Wachovia Securities.  The letter that accompanied them 
stated that "an industry-wide survey indicated that customers did not 
receive breakpoint discounts in approximately one out of every five 
transactions that were eligible for discounts".

That is a very disturbing statement.

Please vote for the new proposals, particularly the one relating to 
the transaction costs in buying mutual fund shares.  We're counting 
on you to protect our interests: please don't disappoint us.
