SEC Chairman Christopher Cox

Dear SEC Chairman Cox,

Mutual funds are a very important investment and savings vehicle for tens of millions of working and retired Americans like myself.

We bear an enormous risk when they are dominated by self-interested insiders.

I want to express my strong support for the proposed rule requiring that the chairperson and at least 75% of a funds board of directors be independent of the fund's management and operations.
