Subject: Letter to the SEC (s7-10-03) To Whom It May Concern: With a successful career, living below my means, prudent investing, and contributions to my retirement funds, I would have thought my retirement might allow me to live comfortably. Given the current state of the market, coupled with recent wall street and the continuing corporate upheavels, this does not appear likely. It is disconcerning that under the current ruling system I have no ability to affect the conduct of these corporations. Thus, I am encouraged that the SEC is now willing to review the proxy rules. I appreciate any improvements to the proxy rulings the SEC can make to pave the way so that we shareholders may meanlngfully oversee the companies who invest/squander our hard earned incomes. Thank you for being a governmental agency that seems to have us shareholders best interests in mind. Cordially, Corrinne Mann
