     As a shareholder in various mutual funds as well as my pension and 401k funds, 
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for any improvements the Securities 
and Exchange Commitssion can make to the proxy rules that affect my ability, as a 
shareholder, to oversee the companies my funds own.
 
     I am grateful for your efforts in protecting the vital interests of the
