Dear Chairman Piwowar, the United Nations says there are at least 40,000 children in the DRC working in artisanal mines, children as young as 7-years old. We need to pressure companies like Congo Dongfang Mining International (CDM), subsidiary of the China-based company Huayou Cobalt, to stop exploiting these poor people. We look to leaders like you to do the right thing by passing and enforcing laws that protect them from corporations that only care about lining their pockets. Wherever there are diamonds or cobalt or any other minerals, we need to make sure there is not a conflict with human dignity and humanity. Thank you for taking my comment. Kind regards, Nancy Dawod, Eugene, OR
