We should NOT allow the Conflict Minerals Rule to be suspended or weakened since major benefits have been realized by its implementation in terms of enforcement of law and order in previously military-controlled mining areas. Recinding this rule would allow armed groups to again control mines and create humanitarian crises for miners and their families.
