We are a 113 year old family owned steel service center with 43 employees and sales of less than $25M per year - in a great year. Conflict Mineral reporting is very much abused by our customer based. The individual form is rather simple but time consuming. Also, many of larger companies require additional information on how info was derived and what the process is or we will be rejected as a supplier. Some even insist we post on their web sites which are not prepared for all platforms. The time required, and subsequent cost of that time, is overwhelming. We are short 5-7 people and would hire additional staff if Conflict Mineral reporting would go away.
