Hello I am writing today concerned about a proposed rule change by the OCC: SR-OCC-2024-001. From my understanding this reduces margin requirements when the market is volatile. Who benefits from this? Institutions with fat margins that have pissed away their capital on risky bets, and poor investments. Wall Street should not have the right to change the rules everytime they dig themselves a hole they can't get out of. This proposal will stand to benefit those operating with moral hazard in our financial markets, and therefore I cannot support it. Sincerely, Calvin Satterfield
