I am submitting this comment to show my disapproval of SR-OCC-2024-001. Lowering margin requirements will only serve to let bad actors continue to get away with making financially irresponsible decisions in the name of their insatiable greed. Time and time again we have seen that these large firms are incapable of self-regulating. I am tired of these rich "too big to fail" jerk offs making risky decisions so that they can squeeze another dollar, only for it to blow up in their face at the expense of everyone else. There should be consequences, and they need to be felt. If you can't meet the necessary margin requirements, you should be liquidated. Period. FAFO.
