Dear SEC, I am writing to you to express my concern at the proposed rule changes in SR-OCC-2024-001. In brief, I am explicitly against this rule change. There are many risks inherent in their proposal, and without a clear and detailed plan for how they will unwind failing members following periods of volatility it should not be allowed to pass. For instance would the OCC have allowed Bill Hang to continue digging his hole after building up 100 billion in debt on only 20 billion collateral? At some point enough is enough.
