I am against the implementation of this proposed rule. This proposed rule would reduce margin requirements for institutions during periods of high volatility in the market. Institutions should be required to have enough funds to cover their positions, and no institution or entity should be "too big to fail" if we want to maintain a fair free market. This seems like a simple premise that we should seek to uphold -- not destroy.
