Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. GBTC has given me the opportunity to set aside a small portion of my overall portfolio to get some exposure to a valuable commodity that I might not otherwise be able to own. Whether bitcoin and other digital assets rise or fall in the short term, I believe robust reporting and transparency will protect investors in the long term who share my view.
