To whom it may concern, I am a lifelong Democrat & have voted accordingly my entire life. Witnessing Gary Gensler's actions towards Bitcoin & the broader Cryptocurrency community has eroded my trust in the SEC & American institutions in general. Gensler's behavior is shameful & genuinely makes me question why I bother to vote. Watching him parade around and talk about "protecting investors" while at the same time his actions are actively subverting wealth creation in this country is bizarre. I have always voted Democrat because the values of honesty & standing up for what is actually right was part of the platform. Gary Gensler has proven that the Democrats I voted for aren't able to appoint someone who actually has the citizens best interests in mind.
