Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. I reside in Pennsylvania and believe that it’s time to approve a Greyscale Spot Bitcoin ETF. Unfortunately, I am hamstrung in my IRA by the lack of BTC investment vehicles available to me. Converting GBTC to a Spot Bitcoin ETF provides me and 800,000 other current investors plus potentially many, many more a cost-effective alternative to withdrawing our IRA funds and paying taxes on the withdraw just to buy Spot BTC on an exchange.
